Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) is proud to announce Dawn
Williams of Newburgh, as its February Star of the Month. A 17-year employee,
Williams is a Patient Care Assistant/Unit Secretary, and is best known for her
cheerful demeanor and ability to make patients feel comfortable.
"Dawn is compassionate and provides outstanding care to patients. She goes above
and beyond her duties by providing comfort and reassurance to patients and their
families,” said Nancy Ricci, R.N., Director of Clinical Practice. “She truly is an asset
to our team and our community.” |

Williams was very honored to receive this special recognition. “I enjoy working with
patients and being part of the caregiving team. Seeing patients progress makes my
job very rewarding.”
St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital employees are nominated for the Star of the Month
award by their co-workers, patients, physicians and/or visitors, based on Stellar
Service Standards. These standards focus on making customers feel comfortable
and important, providing timely and orderly service and improving communication
with patients and staff.
