| Star of the Month – Virginia Soltish |

Newburgh, NY – St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital is proud to announce Virginia
Soltish, R.N. of Beacon, as its April Star of the Month. An 18-year employee, Soltish
cares for patients at the Newburgh campus and is best known for her positive
attitude and stellar service in providing comfort and compassion to patients.
"Virginia provides outstanding care to patients and consistantly goes above and
beyond in her work. She provides clear communication and reassurance to cardiac
patients and their families,” said Claudia Finnegan, R.N., Clinical Coordinator of

enhances our team and the care we deliver. Our community is fortunate to have her
here.”
Surprised by this special recognition, Soltish said, “I enjoy working with patients and
being part of the SLCH family. I’m honored to receive this award; it truly is rewarding
to have a job I love and to make a real difference in patients’ lives.
St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital employees are nominated for the Star of the Month
award by their co-workers, patients, physicians and/or visitors, based on Stellar
Service Standards. These standards focus on making customers feel comfortable
and important, providing timely and orderly service and improving communication
